Estic acabant el Batxillerat i he de decidir qu\u00e8 fer en el futur. Des de petita m’han agradat les ci\u00e8ncies, per\u00f2 no s\u00e9 quina carrera escollir a la universitat.<\/p>\n

Cada dia compartim molt\u00edssima informaci\u00f3 privada (dades personals, financeres o sanit\u00e0ries) que podria ser interceptada: els protocols criptogr\u00e0fics que actualment\u00a0 les protegeixen no funcionarien amb ordinadors m\u00e9s potents que els actuals.<\/p>\n

Una soluci\u00f3 podria arribar de la f\u00edsica qu\u00e0ntica, que permet dissenyar protocols criptogr\u00e0fics que resistirien als atacs de qualsevol ordinador<\/b> (present o futur). Hi ha encara molts reptes tecnol\u00f2gics per poder arribar a integrar sistemes de criptografia qu\u00e0ntica a la xarxa de telecomunicacions actual: resoldre\u2019ls \u00e9s l\u2019objectiu de CiViQ, un projecte europeu de la Quantum Flagship que l\u2019ICFO coordina i en el que hi participen altres centres de recerca, universitats i grans i petites empreses, entre les quals hi ha Quside i LuxQuanta, spin-<\/i>offs<\/i> de l\u2019ICFO fundades en els darrers anys.<\/p>\n

La f\u00edsica qu\u00e0ntica descriu el m\u00f3n a escala at\u00f2mica i molecular: en els darrers anys, la comunitat cient\u00edfica ha apr\u00e8s a aprofitar-se dels fen\u00f2mens que apareixen a escala microsc\u00f2pica per crear noves tecnologies<\/b>.<\/p>\n

S\u2019espera que les tecnologies qu\u00e0ntiques millorin la manera d\u2019estudiar alguns sistemes f\u00edsics, la seguretat de les nostres comunicacions, la rapidesa de c\u00e0lcul dels ordinadors i la sensibilitat dels sensors.<\/p>\n

Amb m\u00e9s de la meitat dels seus grups treballant en aquests camps, l\u2019ICFO suma els seus esfor\u00e7os als d\u2019altres centres de recerca i empreses formant part activa de xarxes a nivell local (QuantumCAT<\/b>) i internacional (European<\/b> Quantum <\/b>Flagship<\/b>) que tenen com a objectiu accelerar l\u2019arribada d\u2019aquestes tecnologies a l\u2019abast de la societat.<\/p>\n
