En aquests dispositius l\u2019emissi\u00f3 de llum s\u2019aconsegueix quan un corrent el\u00e8ctric passa a trav\u00e9s de la uni\u00f3 entre dos materials semiconductors. En aquesta uni\u00f3 les c\u00e0rregues el\u00e8ctriques poden recombinar-se per donar lloc a fotons que formen la llum.<br \/>\nPer aconseguir aquest objectiu, primerament els estudiants han de determinar la longitud d\u2019ona (\u03bb) de quatre leds (vermell, taronja, verd i blau) utilitzant una xarxa de difracci\u00f3 i una webcam. Conegut el valor de la longitud d\u2019ona, els estudiants calculen la freq\u00fc\u00e8ncia (f) del LED emprat.<br \/>\nA continuaci\u00f3, i a trav\u00e9s d\u2019un circuit que permet mesurar la difer\u00e8ncia de potencial al que est\u00e0 sotm\u00e8s el LED i la intensitat que circula per ell, els alumnes determinen el voltatge llindar perqu\u00e8 el LED comenci a emetre llum. Considerant que tota l\u2019energia el\u00e8ctrica es transforma en llum en el d\u00edode, i realitzant un balan\u00e7 energ\u00e8tic, s\u2019obt\u00e9 la constant de Planck.<br \/>\nEl fet d\u2019utilitzar materials quotidians amb els que tothom hi est\u00e0 perfectament familiaritzat com s\u00f3n una webcam o un LED contribueix a despertar l\u2019inter\u00e8s de l\u2019alumnat a l\u2019hora que ho fa tot plegat molt m\u00e9s proper.[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.5.1&#8243;
